Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari is visiting Nasarawa state to commiserate with the people over the death of 40 cows.
In a post on his Twitter page on Monday, the former minister said the president refused to visit Benue when Fulani herdsmen killed 73 people.
FFK tweeted: “73 innocent and precious souls are slaughtered in Benue by Fulani herdsmen and Buhari refuses to visit the state to commiserate with its people.
“40 cows are butchered in Nasarawa and Buhari insists on going there to express his condolences to Fulani herdsmen and Miyetti Allah.”
President Buhari, who has often been heavily criticized by opposition figures for handling the herdsmen menace with kids glove, is scheduled to commission a Special School for Disabled, Karu International Market, 330KVA Power Station and Pilots Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Center in Lafia while in Nasarawa State.
