TOPIC: THE EMPTY TOMB

TEXT : MARK 16:6

BIBLE TEXT: "And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.”
(MARK 16:6).

Over the years, enemies of Christianity have invested all manner of resources in their efforts to discredit Jesus Christ and deny His divinity and lordship. But the incontrovertible fact of the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, as evidenced in the empty tomb, cannot be wished away. 

And this resurrection is the hallmark of Christianity that flags its uniqueness and supremacy over the rest of the world’s religions.

As Jesus vacated His tomb so may all that repent of their sins and believe in Him also vacate their tombs of sinfulness and resurrect into a glorious life of holiness. You too can rise today, if you would believe.

CHALLENGE: You can vacate the tomb of sinful slavery today.

PRAYER: Father, please grant me freedom from sin within and without.
